I never knew that I would get this far as a writer. I couldn’t imagine writing and publishing a book when I was younger. My spelling was terrible, and it still is. My grammar was poor, and it hasn’t improved much. Thank goodness for spellcheck on my computer and editors a phone call away. Writing a novel took me longer than someone who thinks in straight lines and can follow a linear plan. Yet, I did not let time discourage me. Time is going to pass whether I do something with it or not. I choose to write because it helps me think which encourages growth and change in my life.
